This Privacy Policy explains how Pawtato Finance Corporation (“Pawtato Finance,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the website, user interface, games, and other offerings located at pawtato.app, pawtato.finance, pawtato.gg, and their subdomains and related web or mobile applications (collectively, the “Interface”). This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service. By using the Interface, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
(a) Information you provide to us.
We collect information you provide directly, such as your email address, username or nickname, profile details, cryptographic wallet address, and the content of any messages, posts, feedback, or support requests you send us or make available through the Interface. You may choose not to provide certain information, but this may limit your ability to use some features.
(b) Information we collect automatically.
When you use the Interface, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information, including your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring/exit pages, pages viewed, in-game activity and events, timestamps, approximate location derived from your IP address, and diagnostic or performance data. We collect this information using cookies, local storage, log files, pixels, software development kits, and similar technologies.
(c) On-chain and blockchain information.
The Interface interacts with public blockchain networks (including the Protocol). When you connect a wallet or transact on-chain, your public wallet address and associated on-chain activity are recorded on a public, immutable ledger that we do not control. We may collect and associate this publicly available on-chain information with your account.
(d) Information from third parties.
We may receive information about you from third parties, such as analytics providers, wallet providers, third-party login or authentication providers, and marketing or campaign partners, and we may combine it with information we already hold about you.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to: (i) operate, provide, maintain, and improve the Interface and its features; (ii) create and manage your account and authenticate you; (iii) process and record transactions and In-Game Assets; (iv) personalize your experience and deliver content; (v) communicate with you, including sending service messages and, where permitted, marketing communications; (vi) monitor, analyze, and understand usage and trends; (vii) detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, cheating, abuse, security incidents, and other prohibited or unlawful activity, including bot and Sybil detection; (viii) comply with Applicable Law and our legal obligations, including sanctions, anti-money-laundering, and tax requirements; and (ix) protect the rights, property, and safety of Pawtato Finance, our users, and others.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure and analyze usage, and secure the Interface. Some of these technologies are provided by third parties, such as analytics and error-monitoring providers. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect the functionality of the Interface. Where required by Applicable Law, we will request your consent before using non-essential cookies.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information: (i) with service providers and vendors who process information on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, error monitoring, communications, and fraud-prevention providers; (ii) with public blockchain networks, which are inherently public as described in Section 1(c); (iii) to comply with Applicable Law, legal process, or governmental request, or to enforce our Terms of Service; (iv) to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; (v) in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets; and (vi) with your consent or at your direction. We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
5. Third-Party Services and Links
The Interface may contain links to, or integrate with, third-party websites, wallets, applications, and services that we do not own or control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Interface, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it is processed. Information recorded on a public blockchain is outside our control and may persist indefinitely.
7. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, wallet, private keys, and devices, as described in our Terms of Service.
8. International Data Transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you reside. These countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by Applicable Law, we take appropriate safeguards to protect information transferred internationally.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism provided or by contacting us. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected] or [email protected]. We will respond as required by Applicable Law and may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. Please note that we cannot modify or delete information that is recorded on a public blockchain.
10. Children's Privacy
The Interface is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, children. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Interface, as described in our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in our sole discretion. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on the Interface and update the “Last Updated” date above, and may provide additional notice as required by Applicable Law. Your continued use of the Interface after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you accept the changes.
